About me

Who am I ?

My name is Leonore. I am a French student who loves discovering the world. Travelling is a passion and I want to share it with you.

I grew up in Strasbourg, not the most exotic city. But since it’s on the border with Germany I got used to crossing borders. And I could go to Switzerland in only 2 hours, which was pretty nice too! Enough to start my travel addiction.

At fourteen I got to spent a month in an English family living in Totnes. Yeah you probably don’t know about it but you should, it’s worth it! It gave me the most important tool for a traveller : English!

Where have I been ?

The first real trip I can remember of is when I went to Mali with my dad and brother as a child. It was a life-changing experience. It triggered my thirst for travel and made me want to keep on discovering the world, its landscapes and its people. Since then I have been to New-Zealand, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia and many more.

    Hi Leonore,

I’m writing you because I think maybe you can help me.
I applied for the job with Travelicious writers and was accepted. I did everything I was asked to – I bought a domain, did my website, wordpress site and created an article that met all of the basics criteria and was ready to submit.
Their first response was, that I have to send an article before I post it on my blog site (I accidently missed that information) – so I deleted my blog and wrote a summary of the blog + the whole article.
    Their second response was:
    – you simply used the first few paragraphs in your article for the summary. Still, Google will see that part of the article you submitted is copied online. Please create a short summary (no copied content even from your own submitted article).

I have to admit it’s hard for me to understand this sentence, because I don’t know what they meant.

Can you please help me, what kind of summary they wanted?

My article is about the country I have recently visited and the summary before the article is my short impression about that country. So I trully don’t know where did I go wrong?

I would be very grateful for your help and advice.

    Thank you and kind regards,

Sorry Andreja, I never had this problem so I’m not sure I can help you… But maybe you should try writing a new article ? On the same subject of course but without any sentence copied from your original article. I guess that since you’ve already published your article, Google remembers it even if you’ve deleted it. The people from Travelicious don’t want to publish it because it will look as if they’ve copied it from elsewhere…
I hope you’ll manage to have an article published !
      Good luck.
